How to Push a Salt Shaker Through a Table

• Place a coin on a table.
• Say you are going to make it disappear by putting a salt shaker on top.
• Cover a salt shaker completely with your napkin (except for the bottom) and make sure no one can see the salt shaker.
• A paper napking works best so it will mold and hold the shape of the salt shaker.
• Put the salt shaker on the penny.
• Have a spectator tap the shaker three times.
• Hold the salt shaker over your lap while saying, "Oh, it didn't work..."
• Quietly drop the salt shaker from the napkin, while holding the napkin's form. (The shaker should land on your lap.)
• Move the napkin to the middle of the table, still holding the shape of the shaker.
• With the other hand, grab the salt shaker and make it so that it is directly under the napkin, under the table.
• Push the top of the napkin down to the table so that it looks like the shaker melted through the table. At the same time, hit
• the shaker against the bottom of the table to create the noise.
• Show your spectators the shaker!
